Welcome

Town Quay Park is situated in the Old Town area of Southampton surrounded by the city’s medieval vaults and walls.  It lies opposite Town Quay between Lower High Street and Bugle Street. > Map

The Friends of Town Quay Park (FTQP ) was formed in April 2010 in response to the potential threat of Southampton City Council selling the land for development.  A campaign by local residents resulted in a stay of execution but final decisions are yet to be made.

Alongside activities to save and improve the Park FTQP organises > events that bring the local community together. You can also find the most recent happenings on our > news page.

Anyone who shares the aims of FTQP is welcome to > become a member. Each year members elect a committee who manage the affairs of FTQP on their behalf.
